The first HEY MARLY Community Sneaker – Your design, your decision!
2025 will be a very special year for HEY MARLY – we are launching our first Community Sneaker! A sneaker that our community designed together, from the first sketch to production in Porto.
In autumn 2024, the time had finally come: Twelve participants from our community had the unique opportunity to design the sneaker of their dreams together with our designers. The creative process began in a workshop at our HEY MARLY office in Cologne-Ehrenfeld – mood boards were created, color palettes were defined, and the first sketches of the future sneaker were put on paper.
The twelve community members will fly to Porto at the beginning of March to experience the production process of their co-developed sneaker up close.
In Porto, things are finally getting serious: Together with our design team and our producers, the participants will see how sketches and ideas become real products – from the material and colors to the perfect fit. The production process thus becomes an unforgettable experience, where participants can accompany the creation of their sneaker from A to Z.
The highlight of the trip: You can help decide which of the three designs makes it into final production. Your voting via Instagram and our newsletter will determine which sneaker will be officially launched in summer 2025!
