HEY MARLY focuses on responsible handling of people and resources

A key cornerstone of our actions is the awareness of the social responsibility of entrepreneurial activity.
We demand from ourselves and our international business partners that socially fair, social and environmentally sound standards are pursued across the value chain of our products.
Firstly, it is important to us that we visit the production facilities several times a year to gain first-hand impressions of the working conditions; these impressions reinforce our choice of manufacturing partners as socially fair, responsible and sustainably operating companies.
 
Secondly, we ensure that the companies undergo regular audits based on, for example, the Sedex Corporate Governance Standards, which include, among other things, the following initiatives

  • Prohibition of child labor
  • Payment of minimum wages
  • Abolition of forced labor and disciplinary measures
  • Occupational health care
  • Working hours and overtime regulations in accordance with national laws
  • Elimination of discrimination of all kinds
  • Inclusion of environmental and safety issues
  • Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining
  • Social Responsibility Policy
  • Management systems and anti-bribery/corruption policies
